FT. WORTH, Texas (June 10, 2016) It was a battle against the fierce Texas heat for Ryan Lynch in the #GoKarting/BlankHood.com Chevrolet for the RattleSnake 400 at Texas Motor Speedway. Ryan qualified the 07 with a lap of 30.99 at over 174 mph around the 1.5 mile oval. As the green flag fell, Lynch began his longest NASCAR event to date and quickly experienced some of the toughest conditions the sport has to offer. With little ventilation inside the truck, temperatures quickly rose in the burning hot, stuffy Texas evening weather. Lynch worked to get better control of an ill-handling truck as the race progressed, but found managing the heat an equally difficult task.

"At every stop I was pouring ice cold water down my suit just trying to cool off. The June heat here, even in the evening, is incredibly unforgiving," stated Lynch. Ryan survived the race and brought the truck in without a scratch to a commendable 26th place finish. Though the finish was not his best, it was a personal victory. "I can't thank Bobby Dotter enough for giving me the opportunity to get back in the truck, especially at Texas. That was probably the toughest race I've run, and definitely the longest. My goal was to come out clean at the end and get that track time no matter what the physical demands. It was also great to have #GoKarting and my home kart track, 201 Go-Kart Speedway, on the truck. Being able to bring where I started full circle to NASCAR is a really awesome experience."
