2017 Review

2017 was filled with karting action for the BlankHood team on the oval and road course. The oval racing at 201 Go-Kart Speedway in New Boston, TX was extremely successful, with Ryan bringing home the Open Class championship. Road course racing at the Dallas Karting Complex did not have an official points season, but did provide a season of fantastic results. Along with improvements in lap times and general setup methodologies, the BlankHood DD2 SodiKart brought home several class wins and one overall group win.

Though there were no NASCAR events in 2017 for the BlankHood team, plans for 2018 are currently in the works with several options being evaluated for different national series races. Karting will still be a priority in 2018 as well, with several events lining up throughout the state of Texas, and potentially at brand new racing facilities.
