NEW BOSTON, Texas (October 23, 2013) - Five years ago the journey started. After many left turns, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) driver, Ryan Lynch of New Boston, Texas, will compete at his home track in the WinStar World Casino 350K at Texas Motor Speedway on November 1. Lynch will drive the No. 39 BlankHood.com/East Texas Food Bank Chevy in his first start on the 1.5-mile at Texas Motor Speedway (TMS).

Lynch is familiar with the racing atmosphere at Texas. His path to NASCAR began at Texas Motor Speedway. He began racing Legend cars there in 2009 and quickly gained experience on the 1/5 mile Lil' Texas Motor Speedway and the 1/4 mile oval on the front stretch of the track. It has been his goal to return to TMS and race on the main track.

"Racing at Texas is a dream come true. I'll never forget that jaw-dropping moment when my Dad and I first walked in nearly 15 years ago to watch my first NASCAR race. I had only ever raced at go-kart tracks. The possibility I might get to race there is something I never could have imagined that day," states Lynch. Lynch has made three other NCWTS starts at Iowa, Homestead and Kentucky. Texas will be his second start of the 2013 season.

"Even though the track feels like home to me, it'll be a tough place to race. I'll have to pull from my past experiences, especially Homestead and Kentucky, to really get a feel. I've been on the track before, but the front stretch in a Legends car is a far cry from doing 170 in a truck for the full 1.5 mile."

Lynch has partnered with the East Texas Food Bank out of Tyler, Texas to help support and raise awareness of food donation programs. The organization services 26 counties in East Texas, including Lynch's hometown, by collecting food and distributing it to those in need.

"We're happy to have the East Texas Food Bank on board. We hope that we can help out my home community while racing at my home track. They feed so many in the area and the goal is to bring them some attention so they can continue the great work they do," Lynch said.

Lynch is ready for his debut at his home track and the realization of a dream come true.

"It will be exciting for sure and even more so because we are helping out a great cause. I can't wait for the green flag. I'm sure taking Turn 1 at 170 for the first time will be something I'll never forget." Lynch says with a grin.

The NCWTS WinStar World Casino 350K will be broadcast on Fox Sports 1, November 1 starting at 7:30 p.m. Lynch will qualify the No. 39 BlankHood.com/East Texas Food Bank Chevy on Friday at 2:00 p.m., also broadcast on Fox Sports 1.
